Dear friends and family
I hope you are doing well I want to inform you about an awesome opportunity I have to travel with a team of teachers to Africa this summer. We will be providing professional development training for teachers in Rwanda and I will be introducing ultrasound training in this area as well.
As we spend time with educators and community leaders we will also gain an understanding of the challenges they face and learn from their experiences I am sure the learning will be mutual and many relationships will be forged
We we will be learning about the history and culture of the community We will be working in and I am looking for ways to bring this experience into other areas that could benefit from our developed connections Poverty affects each country in a variety of ways
I am so excited for this opportunity to be of service, sharing my passion for teaching and ultrasound and helping children
Each team member has has asked to raise funds to cover expenses and resources for this service opportunity.
