Hello,
Recently I was visiting with a friend of mine and she shared
an experience she had reaching out to help people in need.
Her story and actions spoke to me. I felt that I
needed to get involved and share in the
experience.
I will be participating in a program that reaches out to help kids facing poverty in underdeveloped places. I’m joining a small team on an overseas mission trip to Chiclayo, Peru. This is my first time doing something like this!
The organization is called INGAGE Unlimited. INGAGE develops teams that teach and share experiences, resources and skills with those in countries in need. The end goal of a team is to pass on knowledge and provoke positive change around the world. In Peru, we will be partnering with local community and church leaders at Impacto Cristiano Church providing training and support to over 150 children.
Each team member has been asked to raise funds to cover the expense and resources needed for this service opportunity. Please consider making a donation for this important cause.
