Dear Family and Friends,
We hope 2018 has treated you well. We want to let you know that we have been graced with
another opportunity to participate in a service trip with Ingage Unlimited. This June, we will be
traveling to two impoverished communities located in Bali and Santo Domingo, Dominican
Republic. This trip will provide great opportunity to learn, grow, and give back before Taylor heads
off to college in the fall.
Our team will be comprised of adults and teens who are eager to learn about the communities
and support its citizens in any way we can. Our plan is to partner with the community in order to
complete work projects and meaningful team-building activities. We want to build a bridge between
our two cultures and serve where we are best needed. Spending the week with the educators,
students, and community leaders will enable us to gain insight into the challenges they face on a
daily basis and learn from their experiences. We are also very excited to use the Spanish language
to develop relationships with the people there. We couldn’t be more overjoyed to be a part of this
incredible service opportunity.
Each team member has been asked to raise $2,500 to cover the expenses for the trip and we
would be eternally grateful if you would be willing to provide a contribution of any size. Because this
is a volunteer-based trip facilitated by the non-profit organization, INGAGE Unlimited, all donations
are tax deductible and can be made online at this website: https://give.ingageunlimited.org. To
donate: select the Dominican Republic Team 1 and select one of our names from the drop down
menu.
Following our trip, we plan on sharing photos and memories which will allow us to share our
experience with everyone who supported us throughout the journey. Please feel free to email us at
taylorc2134@gmail.com or jodi1497@sbcglobal.net either before or after the trip, we would love to
share our experience with you. Thank you!
With love and gratitude,
Taylor and Jodi Cyr
