Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to let you know that I am headed to the Dominican Republic in February to work with individuals in Santa Domingo through our Ingage organization. Our team will have a three prong approach on this trip. Our goal is to work with three separate schools/churches to build partnerships within teacher workshops, coaching life skills and introducing aspects of business management. I will be leading this team and while on the ground working with the teachers there.
My favorite parts of these experiences are building strong connections with the people in the Dominican Republic as well as providing sustainable ideas and resources so that our work can continue to grow long after we have left. The people there are full of life and hope! Their desire to work hard with little or no resources continues to be an inspiration to us all.
