About This Project

A team of educators will provide professional development for teachers and leaders working with children facing poverty in the township of Potchefstroom, South Africa. The training will be based on the book "Engaging Students with Poverty Mind" written by Eric Jensen. The team will also spend time learning about the culture and history firsthand while staying in Johannesburg and experiencing life in the township.
